Our trip to the Mainland

Salem, Oregon

Kissing Grammie

We spent three weeks on the mainland in the beginning of January. We had a good time and saw lots of family and lots of rain. We spent time up in Seattle with my family and the headed to Whistler for some winter sporting fun with a stop in Vancouver to see the Olympic Venues. Then down to Oregon to see Dirk's family and meet our baby nephew.
In Whistler we learned the boys are both little dare-devils when sledding. The also both like skiing. Peter got very good at the Magic Carpet run. Ben liked skiing in Mom's arms. Here are a whole ton of photos from the trip.

  1. What a fun trip! I can't wait to take my boys skiing one day. Peter and Ben are getting so big.

  2. Looks like great fun! Has Dirk seen the "luge" videos from our snowstorm last week? Dean is dying to take the boys skiing/snow-tubing, but I asked that he wait until next year. I'm of limited assistance in the snow fun (at 34 wks prego)! -Julie
